Welcome Home Trooper!!

Trooper enjoyed the ride home after meeting his cousin, a female german shepard (they had a great time). His brother is not too sure yet, however, when we got home things went ok!!!

Trooper has a big day tomorrow,It starts off with breakfast and a bath.He enjoyed the evening chewing on a knuckle bone (at my side!) while his brother watched intently.

Troop is now sleeping comfortably in his crate next to our bed,he is pooped out!!

What a beautiful member to our family!!

Welcome Home Trooper!!

Making great strides!

Mr. Trooper now has a belly-band for in house frolicking which helps with his urge to mark (which is quickly diminishing due to neutering). He doesn't seem mind it a bit. He has learned to stay with me while off leash and loves to go for car rides. He is still putting on weight (maybe another 5 or 10?), always trying so hard to please and makes friends wherever he goes (it is almost as if he has a "come hug me" sign around his neck). He likes the 4 legged girls and can be quickly put in his place if he gets too "nosey". His hair is growing back nicely but I think he may have a few spots on his back for a long time. He likes to suck on a pillow or blankie at bedtime or when he has had a big day. He is just a great dog....his proud foster mommy, Carrie

MORE ABOUT ME

Trooper was forced to live outside his whole life and because of this he has little social skills and NO manners what-so-ever (but he is working on them) so he will NOT be placed in a home where there are small children.
Because of the lack of training he just plows right over the top of everything, he does not mean to do it nor does he know any better, Trooper just needs someone that can spend time with him training him that it is not ok to do so.
Also because he was an outdoor dog, he is not potty trained very well and has a desire to mark things right now, however he was just neutered and it will take some time and some training to stop his urge to mark, but he has made great strides with this issue at his foster home and to limit his urge to continue to mark he will not be placed in a home that currently has an established male dog.
He is a wonderful, smart, funny and loving boy who is eager to please for some attention and is adjusting well to life inside of the home where a bullie needs to live.
He is crate trained.

If you feel you have a great home and time for Trooper please contact me.

LOOK AT ME

Well....... Trooper sure is feeling better after his neuter and eye surgery just yesterday.
What a rebel!

Hummm, maybe I better just sit in this comfy chair like a normal bullie (Pfffffff)

Mr. Trooper is recovering nicely from surgery on his eyes and neutering and he is showing lots of love to everyone and with absolutely no aggression towards his 4 legged cousins.  All he wants is attention and someone to love him.  He may have a few problems (allergies and marking his bed) but most of his issues are due to living outside his entire life.  He is incredibly smart and learns fast.  What a great dog.  I am proud to foster him.  C

Welcome Trooper

Trooper is an owner surrender. He came into CBRR with some skin issues that are being addressed with meds currently. He was just neutered and had his cherry eyes fixed today.

He will not be shipped anywhere, please don't ask. Please have a current application on file before you contact us. Contact Kodie for additional information.
